A PUMP TRACK DEFINED.

A pump track is a looping bike trail system of dirt berms and rollers, that is designed to ride continuously without pedaling. A rider’s speed comes from their ability to gain momentum through the tight terrain transitions. These systems become freestyle destinations to try and master the latest tricks. This destination supplements the success and following of Highland Mountain Bike Park, which had 40,000 visitors in 2015.

Similar, to a whitewater park, these tracks, are free for the community to use and enjoy. The beauty of such an attraction is that it is free for everyone and would further build on the outdoor foundation that already exists in this town.

You know, when I heard, when I heard people tell me that a bicycle trail coming through these small towns would revive them... I laughed.
