“I agree that it is only logical that the same rivers that once powered Franklin’s mills can and should be part of its resurgence. That is why I have included a $1.5 million investment in one-time funds in my budget for the Mill City Park.” - Governor C. Sununu
MCP MASTER PLAN
We are incredibly excited to have produced such a comprehensive report about our vision and future. None of this would be possible without working with the professionals at Resilience, Planning & Design.
Steve and his team took our “ideas” and melded them into a comprehensive permaculture based sustainable plan, that reinforces our mission to preserve both history and nature, as the Winnipesaukee River churns to power this community once again.

"An inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of intention.” S. Maraboli
It is an exciting time for Franklin, with so many positive things happening from so many different people and organizations. No movement is possible without a coordinated effort from many. More can be done each and every day.
To share in the excitement, hear the latest plan, listen to the engineers and ask questions, we encourage any and all to come to this event.
This is a free event in which we hope anyone interested in the project is able to be present.
Special Thank You to our supporter and partner, Franklin Savings Bank for hosting the meeting. This meeting will be located in the conference room inside the bank.
When entering Franklin Savings Bank, please enter on the side door near the drive through (when looking at the building with your back to Central Street, the entrance is on the left hand side of the building).
WINNI RIVER DAYS 2018
The Inaugural Three Day River Celebration on the banks of the Winnipesaukee River.
Another busy day in New Hampshire… I stopped by Franklin, where I was able to see the incredible redevelopment projects that are underway. I admire the way Franklin has come together on this great project. PermaCityLife, Outdoor New England, Mill City Park at Franklin Falls, CATCH Neighborhood Housing, Colby-Sawyer College, Franklin Clothing Company, The Franklin Studio, among others, are great examples of how engaged and committed citizens and groups have made investments to leverage the spirit and morale of their community. It’s critical that Franklin continue to have access to federal grants to support these projects…” - Senator J. Shaheen.
Thank you for visiting and talking about our city's revitalization!
